Overhead fault monitoring
TS300S Koala: fuse-opening detector
Detects when an expulsion fuse operates and reports it in real time, with its location on the platform, without waiting for the customer's call.

What it is for
Know which fuse operated, without waiting for the customer's call
Reports every opening and closing immediately and shows the location on the platform, so the crew goes to the exact point.
Install it without cutting supply
It clamps onto the fuse-holder cartridge, any manufacturer, using a bypass and a hot stick with the crew's usual tools.
Forget about maintenance
Autonomous internal battery of more than 10 years and IP65 protection. It stays online 24/7, regardless of the load on the line.
It can also be configured to detect movement in the vertical plane: single-phase reclosers, load-break switches or inspection-chamber covers, plus industrial uses.

How it integrates
LPWAN communication
Uses Sigfox or LoRaWAN. Sends a keepalive message every 24 hours and an immediate one when a fuse opens or closes. Average range of 30 km to the gateway, depending on terrain and interference. With Sigfox it runs on the customer's existing network.
Platform and SCADA
Events reach the Habitat platform, with an operations counter and location. To SCADA it delivers up to 4 digital and 6 analog signals over DNP3 or IEC 60870-5-104.
Frequencies
902.2 MHz (RC2: Brazil, Mexico, United States, Canada and Puerto Rico) and 920.8 MHz (RC4: rest of the Americas). Other frequencies available for LoRaWAN.
